Young Scooter’s Last Run: The Mysterious Circumstances Surrounding His Death

Scooter, born Kenneth Edward Bailey, tragically passed away on his 39th birthday, March 28, 2025, in a freak accident while attempting to evade police in Atlanta. Officers had responded to a 911 call reporting a dispute involving gunfire and a woman being forcibly taken back into a residence on William Nye Drive.

Upon arrival, they knocked on the door, which was briefly opened and then shut in their faces. Establishing a perimeter, officers observed two men fleeing from the back of the house. Scooter attempted to escape by jumping over two fences but sustained a severe leg injury in the process. He was found by officers, who rendered aid before transporting him to Grady Marcus Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities have confirmed that no gunshots were fired by police during the incident, and the injury was self-inflicted during the escape. An autopsy is pending to determine the exact cause of death.
