In his high school days at Pace Academy, he was the captain of his football team for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. Well, Rayman couldn’t have set the bar higher! To be fair, though, his family boasts a legacy of athleticism. His grandfather, Joe Raymond, was a Baseball prospect with the Brooklyn Dodgers.
In his senior year, Jared was a standout quarterback, racking up 2,500 yards and 22 touchdowns. He even rushed for 770 yards and 10 touchdowns, earning him MVP honors. After high school, Rayman continued his academic and athletic journey at the University of Virginia. Unfortunately, an injury stopped him from fulfilling his true potential, and he was forced to hang up his boots prematurely.
His playing career might have ended but he’s not stepping away from the game anytime soon. He’s now looking to share his expertise with the next generation of athletes in the role of a Graduate Assistant Wide Receivers Coach. Channeling his energy into coaching, he offers support to the Virginia Cavaliers.
