Ari’s Journey on How He Became a Journalist
Ari got his law degree from Cornell Law School and kicked off his career at prominent law firms and as a clerk for Judge Robert Katzmann on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
He also worked as a legislative aide in the U.S. Senate, giving him firsthand experience with the legislative process and political scene. Ari’s jump into journalism began with writing for The Nation, where he covered politics, law, and policy. His work as a legal analyst and journalist eventually landed him his spot at MSNBC.
